SWMM

 

使用EPA SWMM 5.1好多年，每次都是通过键盘的“开始”快捷键搜索“SWMM”直接打开，很少在意这款软件组团里面的其他文件，今天点开SWMM 5.1.013和SWMM 5.1.014这两个组团都有一个RELEASE NOTES文件，分别打开发现内容是一样，大致是US EPA关于软件发布说明的概要。临近五一假期，项目均出图，刚好一人在单位，无事可做，所以认真看了一下这个常驻在电脑里面的文件写的是什么。

INSTALLATION
安装信息

 

To install EPA SWMM 5.1 run the setup program swmm51xxx_setup.exe where xxx contains the current build number. It will place the following files into the application folder you designate:
epaswmm5.exe — the Windows user interface for SWMM 5
epaswmm5.chm — the SWMM 5 help file
swmm5.dll — the SWMM 5 computational engine
swmm5.exe — the command line version of SWMM 5
tutorial.chm — an online tutorial for SWMM 5
notes.txt — this file

 

运行swmm5.1.xxx_setup.exe即可安装EPA SWMM5.1，这里的xxx为安装程序的版本号。安装完成后，程序将会在指定的文件夹下生成以下文件：
epaswmm5.exe — SWMM 5Windows用户操作截面
epaswmm5.chm — SWMM 5帮助文件
swmm5.dll — SWMM 5计算引擎
swmm5.exe — SWMM 5命令行版本
tutorial.chm — SWMM 5在线教程
notes.txt — 本文件

 

 

The setup program will also create a Start Menu group whose default name is EPA SWMM 5.1.xxx where xxx is the current build number. From this menu group select the item named EPA SWMM 5.1 to launch the program.

 

安装程序同样会在开始菜单下创建初始名称为EPA SWMM5.1.xxx的组团，其中xxx为安装程序的版本号。在组团中点击EPA SWMM 5.1选项即可运行程序。

EXAMPLE DATA SETS
示例数据集

 

Several example data sets have been included with this package. They are placed in a sub-folder named EPA SWMM Projects\Examples in your My Documents folder. Each example consists of a .INP file that holds the model data and a .TXT file with suggestions on running it.

 

软件安装程序包含的若干示例数据集放置于用户电脑文件夹（C:\Users\用户名\Documents\EPA SWMM Projects）的子目录（EPA SWMM Projects\Examples）下。每个示例都有一个INP和一个TXT文件，INP文件保存着模型数据，TXT文件为模型说明。

 

 

* EXAMPLE1.INP models runoff quantity and quality from a small watershed and its routing through a network of storm sewers. It can be run in either single event mode or in continuous mode using the companion rainfall file sta310301.dat.

 

* EXAMPLE1.INP用于模拟小流域的径流水量和径流水质流经雨水管网的情况。可采用与EXAMPLE1.INP配套的降雨时间序列文件（sta310301.dat）模拟单一工况或连续工况下降雨事件。

 

 

 

* EXAMPLE2.INP is Example 1 of the 1988 EXTRAN Users Manual. It illustrates how SWMM 5 can graphically compare its results to observed data stored in a text file (extran1.dat).

 

* EXAMPLE2.INP其实是1988年SWMM 4.0的扩展输送模块 (EXTRANE，Extended Transport)用户手册中的示例1，本实例用于说明SWMM 5如何通过图形的方式来比较模型模拟结果与观测数据，本实例中的观测数据储存在extran1.dat文件中。
